"Ahh, I'm so hungry." Leon complained as we tried to search for a fast food restaurant.
The night was dark and the trees looked like there were monsters hidden behind them.
We have decided that we stayed over for the night as it might be dangerous to go home alone, especially with a ghost haunting.. us.
I still could not believed what had happened a few hours ago, as I tried to assured my family that I'm alright.
After I hang up the phone, I burst out into tears.
I was too tired of acting strong.
"Don't worry.. You have me." Calvin began, giving me a piece of tissue. "What happened just now?"
"She-" Angela began.
"Nothing.." I interrupted, giving Angela an apologetic look.
“Are you okay?” He asked. “You seem a little, I don’t know, out of it.”
“No, I’m fine, really.”
He smiled and glanced at my short brown hair then back to my eyes.
I blushed and turned away, he might have been teasing me but he was caring afterall.
He noticed the scarf around my neck.
“It’s a little warm for that after a long run, don't you think ?” He reached out for it but hesitated and put down his hands.
I smiled weakly, but said nothing.
At the corner of my eyes, I could see the others gossiping teasingly about us.
“Are you sure you’re okay?” He asked again.
“I’m fine, just a little tired.”
Leon coughed and I looked down, embarrassed.
Calvin smiled.
All of the sudden, the figure appeared. This time, it wasn't as scary as we were out in the streets.
She laughed eeriely, and it was 3am. Nobody was in the streets. We could not call for help.
But with my friends around me, I felt much better.
"Look, you gotta stop what you are doing. You are doing much harm to everyone you know?" Angela began.
The figure stared at her with the same frustrated expression, but did not say anything.
"What you are doing right now, is not making yourself any better, and I have to say that drinking blood is an offence." She continued, eyeing her every movement.
The figure snared and lunged towards us.
I could only hear my scream as it was probably the loudest.
I could not believe we are doing this on the streets.

I covered my eyes, and many fighting was going on.
Between the figure and our two dear friends.
"What DO YOU WANT ME TO DO !?" The figure screamed, the same piercing sounds that echoed around the buildings.
It was a wonder that nobody woke up. Perhaps it was very early and everyone was still sleeping.
I looked through the gaps through my hands and saw that she was being defeated.
"Go back to your own world, now. And turned in yourself. Stop hurting everyone." Angela ordered, in a gentle but firm tone.
"WHHHYY SHOULD I !?" The figure screamed back.

"Do you know that by doing this you are destroying one more life on earth? Do you still remember what happened to you when you were a human?" Brenda continued. They knew what happened to her!?
The figure showed a distorted face when the memory flashed upon her. After a few ten minutes or so, she finally agreed. Yet, her face still showed hints of dissatisfaction.
"Go, now." Angela commanded.

It disappeared. Just like that. It's the end of my nightmare. But I could not forget her face, showing those little hints of dissatisfaction.
Is this truly the end? I do not want such nightmares again, I felt so afraid. What would I do without Angela and Brenda?
Calvin sighed and touched my wounded neck.
"So that was what happened just now." He accused.
I touched my naked neck, then looked at Angela and Brenda. The scarf was gone.
"Sorry sweetie. But we have to go now, it is the end of our mission. It was to get rid of that figure. I believed that she would turn herself in. I shall see you in your next life, okay?"
Brenda said, touching my hair before giving me a big hug.
"Best friend forever." They whispered as we had a group hug.
